Would you like to learn more about the various aspects of cross-border insolvency proceedings? The eBook 'Cooperation between members of the judiciary and other actors dealing with cross-border insolvency proceedings' has been developed by the Belgian Institute of Judicial Training (IGO-IFJ) with the financial support of the European Commission with the purpose to provide magistrates with vital knowledge of European and international rules with regard to insolvency proceedings.
17 European judicial training institutions participated in this project. The project consisted of two seminars: one took place in Brussels on October 2014 and the other in Paris in January 2015. A total of 190 participants from 17 countries were trained by a broad mix of experts with varied backgrounds.
To devise the knowledge and the experience acquired during these seminars, the Judicial Training Institute gathered all the information in an eBook.
It contains more than 1000 pages of documentation, case studies, glossaries, as well as videos with several prominent speakers including a representative of the European Union and a judge of the US bankruptcy court.
